Dead-Cert™ technology saved a valuable hybridoma that had been stored in liquid nitrogen since 1987 and had undergone partial, accidental thawing 4-5 years later. Viability on all vials resuscitated was less than 20% and even with cleaning up by density gradient centrifugation and plating out on macrophage feeders and extra supplements they failed to re-establish the line. Dead-Cert™ Nanoparticles were used to rescue the line from one of the last remaining vials allowing new cell bank stocks to be established for this very valuable hybridoma and monoclonal antibody.”

“I was attempting to expand some T-cell clones that had been frozen down for over 5 years and only very low numbers of cells were available. Dead-Cert™ Nanoparticles worked well in making it possible to successfully resuscitate the cells and I look forward to using this technology for future resuscitation of valuable, related clones.”
